The Broadcasting (Limit on the Holding of Licences to Provide Television Multiplex Services) Order 2001

Supersedes draft published on 9th November 2000Draft Order laid before Parliament under paragraph 4 of Part I of Schedule 2 to the Broadcasting Act 1990, for approval by resolution of each House of Parliament. This draft Order replaces the draft laid before Parliament on 1st November 2000, which was debated in the House of Commons on 15th November 2000 and was withdrawn on 30th November 2000.

Whereas a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament, pursuant to paragraph 4 of Part I of Schedule 2 to the Broadcasting Act 1990(1);

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 5(5)(a) of Part III of Schedule 2 to the Broadcasting Act 1990, hereby makes the following Order:

1990 c. 42. Paragraph 4 of Part I of Schedule 2 was amended by paragraph 5 of Part I of Schedule 2 to the Broadcasting Act 1996 (c. 55). Part III of Schedule 2 was substituted by paragraph 10 of Part III of Schedule 2 to the Broadcasting Act 1996.
