C1Sch: Functions of the Secretary of State transferred to the Lord Chancellor (26.11.2001) by S.I. 2001/3500, arts. 3, 4, Sch. 1 para. 3(a)
5U.K.If the scheme is approved by the [F1General Synod], it shall be forwarded forthwith to the [F2Lord Chancellor] for submission to His Majesty in Council, and His Majesty in Council may thereupon make an Order confirming the scheme and directing that the Measure shall apply to the Island concerned, or to the Islands, as the case may be, in accordance with the scheme.
