This Measure confers the jurisdiction on regulating the conduct of a priest, deacon, bishop or archbishop; but that is subject to subsection (2).

The Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Measure 1963 (referred to in this Measure as “the EJM”) continues to confer the jurisdiction on regulating the conduct of a priest, deacon, bishop or archbishop in cases which involve a question of doctrine, ritual or ceremonial.
