In exercising a function under this Measure, the DBE, the Board of Finance and the diocesan synod for a diocese, and the bishop of a diocese, must each have due regard to such guidance as the Archbishops' Council may from time to time issue for the purposes of this Measure.

Before issuing guidance for the purposes of this Measure, the Archbishops' Council must carry out such consultation as it considers appropriate.
