9 Provisions as to pensions.(1)

Where pension is payable under the pensions regulations to a person who has received periodical payments under section 1(1)(b) above, the Commissioners shall augment the pension so as to ensure that it is at the same rate as it would have been had the period during which the periodical payments were made been one of pensionable service for the purposes of the regulations.

(2)

Nothing in this Measure affects the entitlement of any person to receive a pension under the pensions regulations where he retires before attaining the retiring age.
