14 Appointment of deacon as rural dean

For the avoidance of doubt it is hereby declared that it is lawful for a deacon to be appointed to the office of rural dean, notwithstanding anything in section 10 of[14 Car. 2 c.4.] the Act of Uniformity 1662.
