This Instrument may be cited as the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Rules 2013 (Appointed Day) Instrument 2014.

Appointed day2

The day appointed for the coming into force of the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Rules 2013 is 1st February 2014.

This instrument brings into force on 1st February 2014 the provisions of the Clergy Discipline (Amendment) Rules 2013 which amend the Clergy Discipline Rules 2005. The Clergy Discipline Rules 2005 provide a code of procedure for the determination under the Clergy Discipline Measure 2003 of formal complaints alleging misconduct against a clerk in Holy Orders other than in relation to matters involving doctrine, ritual or ceremonial.
