This Instrument brings into force, on 1st January 2011, the whole of the Crown Benefices (Parish Representatives) Measure 2010. The Measure makes provision for the appointment of lay parish representatives to approve the selection of incumbents of benefices that are in the patronage of the Crown (including Lord Chancellor's patronage), the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall.
