The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(2) of the Ecclesiastical Offices (Terms of Service) Measure 2009 F1, make the following Instrument:
Citation and interpretationE
1.—(1) This instrument may be cited as the Ecclesiastical Offices (Terms of Service) Measure 2009 (Appointed Day No. 3) Instrument 2010.
(2) In this Instrument “the Measure” means the Ecclesiastical Offices (Terms of Service) Measure 2009.
Appointed dayE
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of subsections (1) (2) and (3) of section 11 of the Measure is 27th September 2010.

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Instrument)
This Instrument brings into force, on 27th September 2010, subsections (1), (2) and (3) of section 11 of the Ecclesiastical Offices (Terms of Service) Measure 2009. The remaining provisions of the Measure are to be brought into force on a day or days yet to be appointed.

The following provisions of the Dioceses, Pastoral and Mission Measure 2007 have been brought into force by Appointed Day Instruments made before the date of this Instrument:
