Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 1992 (Appointed Day Instrument 1992)

X1Whereas the Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure received the Royal Assent on the sixth day of March 1992

And Whereas by section 19(2) of the said Measure it is provided that the Measure shall come into force on such date as the Archbishops of Canterbury and York may jointly appoint and that different dates may be appointed for different provisions

Now therefore we GEORGE LEONARD by Divine Providence Archbishop of Canterbury and JOHN STAPYLTON by Divine Providence Archbishop of York do hereby jointly appoint that the following provisions of the said Measure shall come into force on the first day of June 1992:-

Sections 1, 5 to 14 and 16 to 19

Schedule 2

Schedule 3 paragraphs 2 to 4, 6 to 11 and 13 to 27

Schedule 4 (other than the item in Part II of the said Schedule relating to section 11 of the Cremation Act 1902)
