The Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 (Part 2 Further Extension) Order 2025 2025 No. 97 PUBLIC SERVICES REFORM The Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 (Part 2 Further Extension) Order 2025 Made 27th March 2025 Coming into force 28th March 2025 The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 134(4) of the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010. In accordance with section 133(2) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before, and approved by resolution of, the Scottish Parliament. Citation and commencement 1 This Order may be cited as the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 (Part 2 Further Extension) Order 2025 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made. Further extension of period 2 The period for which sections 14 to 30 and schedules 5 to 7 of the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010 have effect is further extended for the period of 5 years beginning with the date on which this Order is made. Part 2 is concerned with order-making powers relating to the public functions of certain bodies and came into force on 1 August 2010.

A previous Order (S.S.I. 2020/140) extended the effect of Part 2 for a period of 5 years from 5 May 2020. This Order further extends the effect of Part 2 for a period of 5 years.

2010 asp 8. The period was extended by S.S.I. 2015/234 for 5 years from 4 June 2015 and by S.S.I. 2020/140 for 5 years from 5 May 2020.
