3. The amendments made by these Regulations do not apply to work which, by virtue of regulation 5 and schedule 3 of the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004, does not require a building warrant provided that the work is—
(a)completed before 1 January 2025, or
(b)not completed before that date and—
(i)the contract for the work is entered into before 1 January 2025, and
(ii)the work is completed on or before 1 July 2025.
