The Coronavirus (Scotland) Acts (Amendment of Expiry Dates) Regulations 2022
In accordance with section 12(6) of the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 and section 9(6) of the Coronavirus (Scotland) (No. 2) Act 2020 the Scottish Ministers have laid before the Scottish Parliament a statement of reasons as to why this instrument should be made.
In accordance with section 12(5) of the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 and section 9(5) of the Coronavirus (Scotland) (No. 2) Act 2020, a draft of this instrument has been laid before, and approved by resolution of, the Scottish Parliament.
Citation and commencement1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Coronavirus (Scotland) Acts (Amendment of Expiry Dates) Regulations 2022 and come into force on 30 March 2022.

The Coronavirus (Scotland) (No. 2) Act 2020 is amended as follows.

These Regulations amend the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 (the “first Act”) and the Coronavirus (Scotland) (No. 2) Act 2020 (the “second Act”).
Part 1 of the first Act and Part 1 of the second Act expire at the end of 31 March 2022. The Coronavirus (Extension and Expiry) (Scotland) Act 2021 amended the expiry date of Part 1 of the first Act and Part 1 of the second Act to the end of 31 March 2022.
These Regulations further amend those Acts so that Part 1 of the first Act and Part 1 of the second Act now expire at the end of 30 September 2022.
