Meaning of childcare provider4.

(1)

For the purposes of these Regulations, a childcare provider is a provider of a childcare service where that service appears on the register of care services maintained by SCSWIS by virtue of regulation 5 of the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Registration) Regulations 20118.

(2)

For the purpose of paragraph (1) “childcare service” means—

(a)

day care of children, or

(b)

child minding.
