Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(6) and (12)(e) of the Lands Tribunal Act 19491 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation and commencement1.

These Rules may be cited as the Lands Tribunal for Scotland (Miscellaneous Amendments) Amendment Rules 2021 and come into force on 31 March 2022.

Amendment of the Lands Tribunal for Scotland (Miscellaneous Amendments Rules 20202.

The Lands Tribunal for Scotland (Miscellaneous Amendments) Rules 20202 are amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).

In rule 2, for “40” substitute “43”.

In the schedule, in the first column, for “41” substitute “44”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Rules)

These Rules amend the Lands Tribunal for Scotland (Miscellaneous Amendments) Rules 2020 (the “2020 Rules”).

The 2020 Rules amend the Lands Tribunal for Scotland Rules 1971 (the “1971 Rules”) to provide for the payment of fees for an application to the Tribunal under the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016 (Register of Persons Holding a Controlled Interest in Land) Regulations 2021.

These Rules amend the 2020 Rules with the effect of ensuring that the provisions they insert into the 1971 Rules are numbered consecutively.

A Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been provided for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
