The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 87(1)(a) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 F1 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Prescribed Police Stations) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2021 and come into force on 25 October 2021.

The Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Prescribed Police Stations) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 F2 are amended as follows.

In schedule 1 (list of police stations in Scotland), for the entry relating to Alloa Police Station, substitute—

2003 c.42. The functions of the Secretary of State were, so far as exercisable within devolved competence, transferred to the Scottish Ministers by virtue of section 142(6) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (“the 2003 Act”) and section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c.46). Section 87(1) of the 2003 Act was amended by S.S.I. 2013/119.
