Citation, commencement and interpretation1.

These Regulations may be cited as the Age of Criminal Responsibility (Scotland) Act 2019 (Register of Child Interview Rights Practitioners) Regulations 2021 and come into force on 30 September 2021.

In these Regulations—
“the Act” means the Age of Criminal Responsibility (Scotland) Act 2019,
“the register” means the register of child interview rights practitioners established and maintained by the Scottish Ministers under section 56(1) of the Act.
