The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 7(1), 8(1), 13 and 14(1) of the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.

In accordance with section 42(2) of that Act, a draft instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
