The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 43A(1)(a) of the Fire (Scotland) Act 20051 and all other powers enabling Her Majesty to do so.

Accordingly, Her Majesty is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows.

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (Appointment of Chief Inspector) Order 2021 and comes into force on 1st April 2021.

Appointment of Chief Inspector2.

Robert Dickson Scott, QFSM is appointed as the Chief Inspector of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Revocation3.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (Appointment of Chief Inspector) Order 20182 is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order appoints Robert Dickson Scott, QFSM as the Chief Inspector of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Article 3 revokes the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (Appointment of Chief Inspector) Order 2018.
