Amendment of the Criminal Procedure Rules 1996

2.—(1) The Criminal Procedure Rules 1996(1) are amended in accordance with this paragraph.

(2) In Chapter 26 (documentary evidence), at the end of rule 26.1 (authentication of copies of documents) insert—

“(4) In this Chapter a reference to a certificate or docquet being endorsed on, or attached to, a copy of a document includes endorsement or attachment by electronic means.”.
