The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 1(1) and (3) of schedule 2 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 F1 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

These Regulations may be cited as the Town and Country Planning and Electricity Works (EU Exit) (Scotland) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Amendment Regulations 2019 and come into force on exit day.

These Regulations amend the Town and Country Planning and Electricity Works (EU Exit) (Scotland) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2019 (“the 2019 Regulations”), and are made in exercise of the powers in paragraph 1(1) and (3) of schedule 2 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c.16).

Regulation 2(2) amends the coming into force date of the 2019 Regulations.

Regulation 2(3)(a) amends regulation 5(10)(c) of the 2019 Regulations, which amends regulation 60 (revocations and transitional provisions) of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017 (“the 2017 Regulations”), to clarify where the amending text is to be inserted into the 2017 Regulations.

Regulations 2(3)(b) and 2(4) amend regulations 5(14)(a)(i) and 6(11)(a)(i), respectively, of the 2019 Regulations, to correct a missing word.

No Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment has been prepared in relation to these Regulations, as no impact upon business, charities or voluntary bodies is foreseen.
