The Motor Sport on Public Roads (Scotland) Regulations 2019

Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 12G and 12H(4), (7) and (8) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 (“the 1988 Act”)1, section 75(10) and (11) of the Deregulation Act 2015 (“the 2015 Act”)2 and all other powers enabling them to do so3.

In accordance with section 12I(1) of the 1988 Act4 and section 75(12) of the 2015 Act, the Scottish Ministers have consulted such persons as they consider appropriate.

In accordance with section 12I(3) of the 1988 Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
