These Regulations bring into force section 2 (key definitions), section 7 (guidance on operation of Act), section 8 (reports on operation of Act), section 12 (regulations) and schedule 1 (public authorities) of the Gender Representation on Public Boards (Scotland) Act 2018 (“the Act”) on 1 December 2018.
The Bill for the Act received Royal Assent on 9 March 2018. Sections 13 and 14 came into force the following day.
