This Order brings into force certain provisions of Part 9 (Allotments) of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 (“the Act”).

It commences on 15th December 2017 the provisions of the Act set out in article 2(1) which relate to Ministerial powers to make regulations. These provisions are commenced for the limited purpose of making regulations as set out in article 2(2).

The Bill for the Act received Royal Assent on 24th July 2015. Sections 141 to 143, 145 and 146 came into force the following day.
