This Order appoints 1st April 2017 for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 (“the Act”) to the extent that they are not already in force—
sections 20 to 22
sections 24 to 29
sections 31 to 34
schedule 2
Those provisions relate to the making and determination of participation requests under Part 3 of the Act.
The Bill for the Act received Royal Assent on 24th July 2015. Sections 141 to 143, 145 and 146 came into force the following day.
