6.—(1) When appointing members of [F1Crown Estate Scotland], the Scottish Ministers are to have regard to the desirability of ensuring that the membership as a whole has skills, expertise and experience relevant to its functions.
(2) The Scottish Ministers may not appoint a person as a member of [F1Crown Estate Scotland] if the person is—
(a)a member of the Scottish Parliament;
(b)a member of the House of Commons;
(c)a member of the House of Lords;
(d)a member of the European Parliament.
