Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 33(2) and (3) of the Education (Scotland) Act 20161.
Citation and commencement1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Scotland) Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Amendment Regulations 2017 and come into force on 15th November 2017.
Amendment of the Education (Scotland) Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 20172.

The Education (Scotland) Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 20172 are amended as follows.

In the schedule, in the entry relating to section 24, for “17th November 2017” substitute “10th January 2018”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Education (Scotland) Act 2016 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2017 with the effect that section 24 of the Act comes into force, in so far as it is not already in force, on 10th January 2018 rather than on 17th November 2017.
