Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Water Industry (Scotland) Act 20021 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Water and Sewerage Services to Dwellings (Collection of Unmetered Charges by Local Authority) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2017 and comes into force on 9th December 2017.
Amendment2.
In article 2 of the Water and Sewerage Services to Dwellings (Collection of Unmetered Charges by Local Authority) (Scotland) Order 20142, in the definition of “service year”, for “and 2017” substitute “, 2017, 2018 and 2019”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Water and Sewerage Services to Dwellings (Collection of Unmetered Charges by Local Authority) (Scotland) Order 2014 (“the 2014 Order”) so that the provisions of the 2014 Order apply for an additional two years from 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2020.
No business and regulatory impact assessment has been prepared for this Order as no additional impact upon business, charities or voluntary bodies is foreseen.
