The Teachers’ Superannuation and Pension Scheme (Additional Voluntary Contributions) (Scotland) Regulations 2017

The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 9 and 12 and schedule 3 of the Superannuation Act 19721 and section 1(1) and (2)(d) and paragraph 4(b) of schedule 2 of the Public Service Pensions Act 20132 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

In accordance with section 9(5) of the Superannuation Act 1972 and section 21(1) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013, they have consulted with representatives of education authorities, of teachers and such representatives of other persons likely to be affected by these Regulations as appear to them to be appropriate.

In accordance with section 9(1) of the Superannuation Act 1972 and section 3(5) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013, these Regulations are made with the consent of the Treasury3.
