Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 113B(2)(b), as read with section 126(3), of the Police Act 19971 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
Citation, commencement and extent1

These Regulations may be cited as the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2017 and come into force on 30th June 2017.

These Regulations extend to Scotland and, in so far as they extend beyond Scotland, they do so only as a matter of Scots law.
Amendment of the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records) (Scotland) Regulations 20102
After regulation 9(3)(c) of the Police Act 1997 (Criminal Records) (Scotland) Regulations 20102 insert—

an individual appointed or reappointed, or seeking to be appointed or reappointed, to any judicial appointment, as defined in article 2 of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 20133.
