Day appointed

2.  31st August 2016 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014—

(a) so far as not already in force—

(i) sections 19 to 45;

(ii) section 68; and

(iii) schedules 2 and 3(1); and

(b) section 95.

Paragraph 14 of schedule 2 to the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, and paragraph 15 of schedule 3 to that Act were inserted by paragraph 13 of the Schedule to the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014 (Consequential Modifications and Saving) Order 2015 (S.S.I 2015/157). Paragraph 13 of S.S.I. 2015/157 came into force on 1st April 2015 but the amendments it made to schedules 2 and 3 have no practical effect until sections 31 and 44 of the 2014 Act are commenced by this Order.
