Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(2) and (3) of the Community Care and Health (Scotland) Act 20021 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the Community Care and Health (Scotland) Act 2002 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2015 and comes into force on 11th May 2015.

In this Order “the Act” means the Community Care and Health (Scotland) Act 2002.
Appointed days2
1
11th May 2015 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 5(1) and (2) of the Act (local authority arrangements for residential accommodation outwith Scotland) for the limited purpose of enabling regulations to be made.

24th June 2015 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 5 of the Act so far as then not in force.
