2. 19th January 2015 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 1 (establishment of Historic Environment Scotland) of and schedule 1 (further provision about Historic Environment Scotland) to the Historic Environment Scotland Act 2014 but only for the purposes of enabling—
(a)the Scottish Ministers to appoint—
(i)persons as members of Historic Environment Scotland; and
(ii)one of those members to chair Historic Environment Scotland; and
(b)the appointment of a person as the chief executive of Historic Environment Scotland.
