These Regulations increase the speed limit for such a vehicle to 50mph when it is being driven on a single carriageway stretch of the M9/A9 Trunk Road specified in the Schedule to the Regulations. commencement</heading><num>1.</num><content><p>These Regulations may be cited as the <abbr class="acronym" title="Heavy Goods Vehicle">HGV</abbr> Speed Limit (M9/A9 Trunk Road) Regulations 2014 and come into force 7 days after the day on which they are made.</p></content></hcontainer><hcontainer name="regulation" eId="regulation-2"><heading>Increased speed limit</heading><num>2.</num><content><p><mod>In Schedule 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (speed limits for vehicles of certain classes)<authorialNote class="footnote" eId="f00002" marker="2"><p>There are amendments to Schedule 6 which are not relevant to this instrument.</p></authorialNote>, in Part I after the Table insert—<quotedStructure startQuote="“" endQuote="”"
