2.—(1) The Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) (Scotland) Regulations 1984(1) are amended in accordance with paragraph (2).
(2) In Schedule 4 (the specified classes of advertisements displayed with deemed consent), after Class VI (illuminated advertisements) insert—
(a)in the first column (description of advertisement)—
“Class VII: |
Advertisements on ground based housing for electronic communications apparatus: |
Advertisements displayed on ground based housing for electronic communications apparatus required to be attached to that housing by virtue of Articles 8 and 9 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1828/2006 setting out rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 laying down general provisions on the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund and the Cohesion Fund and of Regulation (EC) No 1080/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the European Regional Development Fund(2).” |
(b)in the second column (maximum height of letters or figures)—
“0.1 metre”; |
(c)in the third column (maximum height above ground level of highest part of advertisement)—
“1.5 metres”; and |
(d)in the fourth column (other conditions)—
“Area of advertisement not to exceed 0.3 square metres.”. |
