Citation, commencement and interpretation1.

This Order may be cited as the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2 and Saving Provisions) Order 2014 and comes into force on 1st September 2014.

In this Order—
“the 1977 Act” means the Marriage (Scotland) Act 19772;
“the 2004 Act” means the Civil Partnership Act 20043;
“the 2014 Act” means the Marriage and Civil Partnership (Scotland) Act 2014;
“the GRA 2004” means the Gender Recognition Act 20044.
