The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 122 of the Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Act 2012

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Act 2012 (Designated Day) Order 2014 and comes into force on 28th May 2014.

Designated day2.

The designated day for the purposes of the Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Act 2012 is 8th December 2014.

The Bill for the Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Act 2012 received Royal Assent on 10th July 2012. Sections 113, 114(1), 116, 117, 122, 123 and 124 came into force the following day.
