The Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012 (Commencement No. 3 and Transitory Provision) Order 2013
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012 (Commencement No. 3 and Transitory Provision) Order 2013 and comes into force on 15th February 2013.
Appointed day2.
15th February 2013 is the day appointed for the coming into force of paragraph 33(15) of schedule 7 to the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012 (minor and consequential amendments).
Transitory provision3.
Until 1st April 2013, paragraph 33(15)(b) of schedule 7 to the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012 is to be read as if the words “or paragraph 7A(8) or 7B(4) of schedule 4” were omitted.

This Order brings into force on 15th February 2013 paragraph 33(15) of schedule 7 to the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2013 which amends section 103(4)(a) of the Police, Public Order and Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2006 (“the 2006 Act”).
Article 3 makes transitory provision so that until 1st April 2013 the text to be inserted into the 2006 Act is only to be read as relating to regulations under section 41D(1) of that Act.
