<Text>The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 140 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990<FootnoteRef Ref="f00001"/> and all other powers enabling them to do so.</Text></P>

<P2para><Text>Lead shot may be used by the persons specified in paragraph (2) during the period beginning on 1st July 2014 and ending on 29th July 2014 in the Barry Buddon Training Area, Barry, Carnoustie, DD7 7RY for the purposes of, or in connection with, the clay target event at the Commonwealth Games 2014 (including for the purposes of training for that event).</Text></P2para>

<P2para><Text>The persons specified are the competitors in that event, any persons acting as reserve shot gun fillers, and any persons involved in the testing of equipment.</Text>
