Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 21(2)(b) of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games Act 20081 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Glasgow Commonwealth Games (Enforcement Officers) Regulations 2013 and come into force on 8th October 2013.
Appointment as enforcing officer2
The Organising Committee may, under section 21 of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games Act 2008, designate an individual as an enforcement officer if the individual is authorised by a council to enforce the provisions of section 92 of the Trade Marks Act 19942 (unauthorised use of trade mark in relation to goods) and the designation is approved by the authorising council.
