The Lords of Council and Session, under and by virtue of the powers conferred upon them by section 57(2) of the Representation of the People Act 19831 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, do hereby enact and declare:

Citation and commencement1

This Act of Sederunt may be cited as the Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 2013 and comes into force on 19th August 2013.

A certified copy of this Act of Sederunt is to be inserted in the Books of Sederunt.

Registration Appeal Court2

The court for hearing appeals under section 57(1)(b) of the Representation of the People Act 1983 shall consist of the Right Honourable Lord Eassie, the Honourable Lord Drummond Young and the Honourable Lord Stewart.

The Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 20122 is revoked.

This Act of Sederunt appoints three judges to hear registration appeals under section 57 of the Representation of the People Act 1983. It revokes the Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 2012, which previously made such provision.
