The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 32(3) and (5) of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967

1967 c.77. Section 32 was substituted by the Crime and Punishment (Scotland) Act 1997 (c.48), section 45(1) and amended by the Scotland Act 1998 (Consequential Modifications) (No. 2) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/1820), Schedule 2, paragraph 41(2). The functions of the Secretary of State were transferred to the Scottish Ministers by virtue of section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c.46).
