3.  That part of the South Ayrshire local government area(1) specified in Schedule 1 is designated as—

(a) a permitted parking area; and

(b) a special parking area.

South Ayrshire local government area was established by section 1(2) and (4) of, and Schedule 1 to, the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994 (c.39).
