Deposits in the course of normal navigation or maintenance18.

(1)

This article applies to a deposit from a vehicle, vessel, aircraft or marine structure in the course of its normal navigation or maintenance.

(2)

This article does not apply to a deposit—

(a)

made for the purpose of disposal;

(b)

to the extent that it falls within item 10.
