Provision against danger to navigation12.(1)

In the case of injury to or destruction or decay of a tidal work or any part thereof, the Commissioners shall as soon as practicable notify the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses and shall lay down such buoys, exhibit such lights and take such other steps for preventing danger to navigation as the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses shall from time to time direct.

If the Commissioners fail to comply in any respect with the provisions of this article, they shall be guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum and on conviction on indictment to a fine.
