The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 43(1) and (2)(a) of the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011(1):
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Amendment Order 2011 and comes into force on 26th December 2011.
Amendment of Commencement No. 2 Order
2.—(1) The Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Order(2) is amended as follows.
(2) In article 2 (appointed days), in paragraph (4), for “1st April 2013” substitute “1st January 2013”.

This Order amends an error in the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Order, with the effect that section 13 (snares) of the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 comes into force on 1 January 2013 so far as not already in force on that date.
