The Scottish Ministers in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 43(1) and (2)(a) of the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 20111, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 1) Amendment Order 2011 and comes into force on 29th June 2011.

Amendment of Commencement No. 1 Order2.

(1)

The Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 1) Order 20112 is amended as follows.

(2)

For article 2(1)(l)(ii) substitute—

“(ii)
the first to the thirteenth, the fifteenth to the eighteenth, and the last entry of Part 2 of the schedule;”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order corrects an error in the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2011 (S.S.I. 2011/279).

The effect is that the Finance Act 1924 and the Game Act 1970 are repealed, and the Destructive Imported Animals Act 1932 is not repealed.
