The Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2009 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2010

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(3) of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 20091 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation1

This Order may be cited as the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2009 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2010.

Appointed day2

Section 23 of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2009 comes into force on 14th November 2010.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings section 23 of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2009 (“the Act”) into force on 14th November 2010. The whole of the Act will be in force from that date.

Section 23 of the Act makes provision for the collection of data on additional support needs by the Scottish Ministers from education authorities and the publication by the Scottish Ministers of that information.
