<P><Text Hanging="indented">These Regulations amend the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 as amended (the “principal Regulations”), which set out functional standards for buildings. The amendments are in relation to Schedules 3, 5 and 6 to the principal Regulations.</Text></P>
<P><Text Hanging="indented">Regulation 2(2) makes changes to paragraph 2A of Schedule 3 to the principal Regulations, being a description of certain works not requiring a building warrant.</Text></P>
<P><Text Hanging="indented">Regulation 2(3) amends, replaces or inserts paragraphs 2.11, 2.12, 2.13, 2.15, 3.14, 3.15, 4.13, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6(b), 6.8 and 6.10 of Schedule 5 to the principal Regulations, which sets out standards applicable to the design and construction of buildings.</Text></P>
<P><Text Hanging="indented">Regulation 2(4) makes changes to sub-paragraphs 1(c) and (d) of Schedule 6 to the principal Regulations, which applies certain of the standards set out in Schedule 5 to the principal Regulations to conversions.</Text></P>
