The Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan and Dispute Resolution) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010

Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 11(8) and 16 of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 20041 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation and commencement1

These Regulations may be cited as the Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan and Dispute Resolution) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010 and come into force on 15th August 2010.

Amendment of the Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 20102

The Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 20102 are amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.

In regulation 1 (citation and commencement) for “16th August” substitute “14th November”.

In regulation 4 (insertion of new regulation 5A) omit “issue” where it first occurs and insert “inform the person who made the request of”.

Amendment of the Additional Support for Learning Dispute Resolution (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 20103

In regulation 1 (citation and commencement) of the Additional Support for Learning Dispute Resolution (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 20103 for “16th August” substitute “14th November”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

Regulations 2(2) and 3 of these Regulations change the date on which the Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010 and the Additional Support for Learning Dispute Resolution (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010 come into force from 16th August 2010 to 14th November 2010.

Regulation 2(3) of these Regulations amends regulation 5A(1) as inserted by regulation 4 of the Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2005 (S.S.I. 2005/518) so as to ensure consistency of drafting.
